School Management

Defaulter lists that are accurate the day you print them.

Fees, examinations and attendance stop being three systems that disagree. One student record carries the lot, from admission enquiry to leaving certificate.

School Management

MjFour School Management runs schools, colleges and academies in Pakistan. Fee vouchers reflect the concessions and arrears your school actually applies, examinations run from datesheet to printed result card in your own layout, and parents hear about an absence the same morning, in Urdu, on the phone they own.

  • Multi-campus consolidation with campus-scoped access
  • Mark corrections and fee concessions attributable to a named user
  • Parent portal built for older Android phones on 3G

What it solves

Defaulter lists are out of date before they are handed round.
Bank challan formats match your bank, and the returned statement reconciles automatically, so the defaulter list is accurate on the day it is printed.
Family discounts are applied by memory.
Siblings are linked on the record, so family discounts apply automatically rather than depending on somebody remembering the connection.
Parents find out about an absence days later.
Absentee SMS goes to parents in Urdu the same morning, alongside templated fee reminders, result availability and event announcements, all logged.
Certificates are typed by hand each time.
Certificates are generated from the record, and promotions and campus transfers preserve history rather than overwriting it.

What it does

  • One record, admission to leaving

Siblings linked, documents attached to the file, promotions and campus transfers preserving history, certificates generated rather than typed.

  • Fee vouchers your school recognises

Tuition, transport by route, lab, library, examination and annual heads kept separate, with concessions, scholarships, staff-child rates, sibling discounts, arrears and late fees by your own rules.

  • Bank challans that reconcile

Challan formats matched to your school's bank, with automatic reconciliation of the returned statement.

  • Examinations end to end

Datesheet, seating and invigilation duty, per-subject marks entry with locked submission, board grading schemes, positions and percentages, result cards in your own layout, bilingual where used.

  • Parents kept informed

Same-morning absentee SMS in Urdu, plus fee reminders and announcements. The parent portal is built for older Android phones on slow connections.

  • Timetable and staff

Teacher records, timetable with clash detection and same-day substitution, plus the full MjFour payroll engine for school staff.

In detail

How it runs, step by step

  1. From enquiry to leaving certificate

One record carries a student from the first admission enquiry through admission, class allocation, fees, attendance, examinations, promotion and eventually a leaving certificate. Promotions and campus transfers preserve history instead of overwriting it, so last year remains readable after this year has started, which is exactly when somebody asks for it.

  2. Fees, and why the defaulter list is trustworthy

Fee heads and instalments are set per class, per campus or per student. Vouchers and bank challans print in the format your school and your bank already use, and bank receipts reconcile against the challans that were issued, which is what makes the defaulter list accurate on the day you print it rather than the day the register was last updated. Siblings are linked on the record, so a family discount applies to each child automatically instead of depending on somebody remembering the connection. Concessions are recorded against whoever approved them.

  3. Examinations that end in a result card

Examinations, subjects and weightings are configured per class. Teachers enter marks for the classes they teach and no others. Your provincial or federal board grading scheme is applied the same way across the whole cohort, and result cards print from the record in Urdu or English. A mark correction after publication is recorded against the person who made it, so a reissued card can be explained rather than merely reprinted.

  4. What reaches a parent

Parents are messaged about absence, fees and results in Urdu or English, on a portal built for older Android phones and intermittent connections rather than a recent handset on fibre. A school already running fees and examinations can also run payroll for its own teachers on the same platform, without a second login, a second set of employee records or a second company to chase.

Terms

Terms used on this page

Plain definitions of the words a buyer here actually searches for.

Fee voucher
The printed slip a family pays against, generated from the student record with any concession or sibling discount already applied.
Bank challan
The bank copy of a fee voucher, reconciled against what the bank actually received so a payment is not recorded twice or missed.
Board grading scheme
The grade boundaries set by a provincial or federal examination board, applied consistently across a cohort rather than by hand per class.
Defaulter list
The list of students with fees outstanding, produced from the current ledger so it is accurate at the moment it is printed.
Leaving certificate
The document issued when a student leaves, generated from their preserved record rather than retyped from a register.

Fit and setup

Who it is for, and what setup involves

Who this is for

Schools and colleges, single campus or several, and tuition academies that take admissions, collect fees and issue results. At PKR 1,000 a month for up to 200 students it is priced for a neighbourhood school; above that you are quoted on the same per-student basis rather than moved onto a different product, so nothing is withheld from a smaller school and unlocked for a larger one.

What it replaces

A fee register, an attendance register, a stack of mark sheets in different formats, and a typist producing certificates by hand. Each of those records perfectly well on its own. The cost is in every question that requires reading them back: who owes fees today, which children are siblings, what this student's marks were two years ago.

What a term looks like

  • Before it starts: fee heads and instalments per class, campus or student; classes and sections; the timetable, with clash detection and same-day substitution.
  • During: vouchers and bank challans issued in your own format, bank receipts reconciled against them, attendance taken, parents messaged about absence in Urdu or English.
  • At the end: teachers enter marks for their own classes, your board's grading scheme is applied across the cohort, and result cards print from the record.
  • After: promotions and campus transfers preserve history rather than overwriting it, so last year stays readable once this year has started, which is exactly when somebody asks for it.

The two documents that matter most

A fee voucher and a result card are the only parts of a school system most parents ever see, so both print in your school's own format and in the language the family reads. A defaulter list is accurate on the day you print it because it comes from the current ledger rather than from a register somebody last updated on Tuesday. Concessions and mark corrections are attributable to whoever made them, which is what lets you explain a reissued card instead of merely reprinting it.

Your own staff, on the same platform

A school running fees and examinations can switch on the full payroll engine for its teachers, with FBR salary slabs, EOBI, provident fund and gratuity. One set of employee records, one login.

Modules included

Each system solves a job completely on its own, and they share one platform when you need more than one.

  • Student information and admissions
  • Fee management and vouchers
  • Examinations and result cards
  • Attendance and timetable
  • Payroll for school staff
