Solutions

From marks to result cards

Collect marks, apply your board’s grading scheme, and print result cards without a spreadsheet in the middle.

The problem

Marks travel by spreadsheet. Every teacher keeps a slightly different one, the grading scheme is applied by hand, and a late correction means reprinting a card without anyone recording why.

What changes

Examinations run end to end on the student record: teachers enter marks against their own classes, the grading scheme for your board is applied consistently, and result cards print from the record. A mark correction is recorded against the person who made it.

How it works

  1. Examinations, subjects and weightings are set up per class.
  2. Teachers enter marks for the classes they teach, and only those.
  3. Your provincial or federal board grading scheme is applied consistently across the cohort.
  4. Result cards are generated from the record, in Urdu or English.
  5. Corrections are recorded against a named user, and promotions preserve history rather than overwriting it.

What you get

  • One source for marks instead of one spreadsheet per teacher.
  • The grading scheme applied the same way for every student.
  • Mark corrections that are attributable rather than invisible.
  • History preserved across promotion and campus transfer.
